“Sustainable Travel – Creating Future

🌿 🌿 ITE HCMC 2024 – International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City 2024 has ended with many impressive and memorable moments. This is a prestigious international tourism event, attracting the participation of many businesses in the Mekong region. With the theme “Sustainable Travel – Creating Future”, the 18th ITE not only opens up opportunities for exchange and cooperation, but also promotes the trend of sustainable tourism and community development.

For Maries, the 18th ITE is an important milestone when we can spread the products that we have created based on the inheritance of the Traditional Craft Village, to bring practical effects to the people of the craft village, contribute to maintaining stable jobs, increase income for rural women and expect to make the houses where we cooperate become richer, to create a prosperous village and for the first time we introduce a unique and meaningful collection – Lepironia Charm with Patterns of 54 Vietnamese Ethnic Groups.

🌟 Lepironia Charm Collection – The connection between culture and modernity

At the ITE HCMC 2024 Fair, in addition to the handmade products of Co Bang Hats, Handbags, Wallets, Charms designed in many diverse styles, Maries brought the latest collection – Charm Collection from Lepironia, painted with patterns of 54 Vietnamese Ethnic Groups. This is the first time this collection has been displayed, and it immediately received special attention from partners as well as young customers. The combination of natural materials such as Lepironia grass – a characteristic of the traditional craft village of more than 500 years in Hue – and patterns imbued with national cultural identity has created a unique and sophisticated feature for the collection.

These products not only represent the quintessence of traditional craft villages but also serve as a bridge between long-standing cultural values and modern life. Through the collection, Maries not only wishes to preserve cultural values, but also spread the message of sustainability and promote awareness of preserving national identity, especially among young people.

🌱 Focus on sustainability – A trend that partners in the tourism, hotel and resort sectors are aiming for in the future

More and more customers and partners in the tourism, hotel and resort sectors are interested in sustainable products, and this was clearly demonstrated at Maries’ booth. Products made from sedge are not only environmentally friendly but also carry humanistic values, contributing to the support and sustainable development of traditional craft villages. Handcrafted products made from natural materials such as sedge are not only beautiful in appearance but also bring a sense of closeness and connection with nature – something that many modern consumers are looking for.

🌿 Aiming for sustainable cooperation and community development

Maries always wants to shorten the gap between traditional products and modern lifestyles. At this fair, we had the opportunity to interact with many domestic and foreign partners, opening up potential for future cooperation. Maries hopes to work with partners and customers to build sustainable projects, bringing practical value to the community, especially craft villages, helping to improve income and improve the lives of workers here.
