Around the end of May and the beginning of June, as the Central Vietnam sun starts to intensify and the weather becomes warmer, the lotus flowers in the ponds begin to reveal their beauty, exuding their fragrant scent. Hue is then adorned with the pure white and pink colors of the lotus.
Lotus flowers have been intertwined with the people of Hue throughout history, evidenced through its architecture, cuisine, and culture. Moreover, the lotus signifies refinement, purity, and nobility. It has been chosen as the national flower and a symbol of the vibrant spirit of the Vietnamese people.
